I just got a birthday gift to out do all gifts. Tucked into my birthday card from my sister Isabell was a photo of Mother & Dad dancing, taken back in 1967.
They both look so happy, it made me cry when I saw the picture..
I miss you both more than words can say & I hope you are dancing together again now..
I LOVE your Mom and Dad dancing picture, it kinda makes me tear up too. I cherish the pictures I have of my folks when they were young and beautiful...sigh.
Hi Ellen! Love the picture of your parents!! What a wonderful memory to open up! Happy Birthday too!! I hope you made it a good one. I also love the June page. It's so beautiful! Your beading is always so inspiring! Cheers, Denise
I'm from New Zealand & I now live in the hills behind the beautiful Gold Coast in south eastern Queensland, Australia. I learnt to use a needle & thread at young age, so beading was a natural progression of that. I love to bead & I am a self confessed Bead Addict, for which there is no cure, nor do I want one if it ever becomes available. Recently I have taken up photography & have no idea where this will take me but I'm up for the journey

That picture is beautiful and you look a little of both of them.
Hugs, Helaine
Helaine nailed it -- you have both of your parents in your features. And what better way to have them with you always, right?
Much love,

Oh, this pic is absolutely wonderful!
I'm so glad you have it :)
Ellen, that picture just takes me back. They both look so happy. I think I need to look at some of my old pictures & stroll down memory lane too.
